2017 Annual Community Meeting
“Orchestrating a Dynamic Community Together” with Keynote Speaker, Maestro Raffaele Ponti of the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra.
TEAM’s 2017 Annual Community Meeting will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Punta Gorda Isles Community Association, 2001 Shreve Street in Punta Gorda. The event is open to the public. All are encouraged to come enjoy this entertaining and informative evening and learn more about TEAM Punta Gorda.
Charlotte Symphony Music Director and Conductor Raffaele Ponti will be the guest speaker.
There is no doubt that the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra is a tremendous asset, as it continues to grow and flourish under the talented baton of Maestro Raffaele Ponti. Maestro Ponti will speak of the relevance of the Symphony to the future of the community, or as he remarked recently, “(I see) the Symphony joining TEAM to form a Community Model.” Maestro Ponti envisions the Symphony and TEAM as “two driving forces working together.” His remarks will emphasize what he envisions as a grand partnership. This is an evening you will not want to miss.
A Mix and Mingle reception begins at 6:30 PM. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided. TEAM volunteers will be on hand at information tables to provide insight on projects and initiatives ongoing in the community. The Charlotte Symphony will have its own information table and Maestro Ponti will personally select the background music to be played for the event. The one hour program begins at 7:00PM.
